We've made it safe

En Pointe Safe.

We’ve changed a few things here at En Pointe to keep you, your children and our staff safe. We’ve also undertaken a Covid 19 safe course (Infection control) to ensure that everyone who visits, is as safe as possible.

En Pointe takes the safety and wellbeing of its dancers and customers very seriously. In line with our values, we have completed comprehensive risk assessments with both York council and the Royal Academy of Dance. En Pointe follows guidance issued by the Government and Public Health scientific advisors.

Here is a list of what you can expect when you visit us:

  • Staff wearing visors / masks

  • Social distancing during classes and smaller class numbers

  • Props and barres wiped down between classes

  • Hand sanitiser stations and hand washing facilities

  • Parents of school aged children asked to drop off and pick up without entering the building

  • Parents of preschool aged children, just 1 accompanying adult, no siblings of walking age

  • All adults must wear a face covering in the building, secondary school age children to wear one between classes
