En Pointe was established in 2013 in York. What was really established was a promise. To passionately teach dance, to make every class, show, and performance absolutely breathtaking.

En Pointe Dance School has been voted in York for providing 'Best Dance Classes' as voted by all the readers and followers of the ever popular and much loved Little-Vikings Magazine. We couldn't be more proud and honoured to have achieved this prestigious and humbling award for three years running. Our dance teachers have come from professional backgrounds and teaching children dance in York comes with a rooted passion for the love of the arts.

300+ dance students in classes per week

We must be doing something right! En Pointe currently have a staggering 300+ students in a class throughout the week, and growing. All of our dance students are very valued members and advocate of our independent ballet school.
 

Purpose built dance studios

We create experiences and memories at our studios in York, that are designed to create a supportive and encouraging environment in which our dancers, artistic dance staff professionals can mentor, nurture and inspire the next generation of dancers. 

80 classes a week… and counting

Our ever growing dance school have got something for everyone here at En Pointe. We have classes in Ballet, Jazz, Commercial Dance, Technique, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Pointe work.
